Camp Sign Me Up
Camp Sign Me Up is an important program for BridgesTN and now BridgesWEST, one that allows us to share the beautiful language and culture of the Deaf community in a fun, interactive, summer day camp. These young learners then help us build a more inclusive world for our community.
BridgesTN is excited to present Camp Sign Me Up 2024. All campers will have fun, learn ASL, and get a t-shirt!
Our in-person camp in Nashville will run from 9am to 3pm, Monday through Friday, June 5 - 9, June 12 - 16, June 20-23 and July 10 - 14, Our focus is teaching American Sign Language on beginner, intermediate, and advanced tracks while incorporating arts & crafts, free play, and other activities.
The camp is open to students in grades 3rd through 8th. We will consider 1st and 2nd graders based on availability and will accept applications from teenagers who wish to work as junior counselors. We will provide a pre-packaged snack each day. Campers will bring their own lunches, and we ask campers to bring refillable water bottles to use throughout the day. Onsite Camp Sign Me Up will be $125/per week. Before and after care are available for an additional fee. Information is on the registration form.
