Workshops for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing

SSP Training

BridgesDHH offers an annual SSP training to train volunteer personal assistants for our Deaf-Blind community. This training, offered in person in Nashville, is for D/deaf and hard of hearing adults who want to volunteer time to help our Deaf-Blind community navigate their lives.

BridgesDHH offers a GED program just for D/deaf and hard of hearing adults--interpreter and captioned. Please email mike@bridgesfordeafandhh.org for more information.

Law Enforcement/First Responder Training

Community Building

AEO provides social, relationship-building days and activities that build and bond our Deaf and hard of hearing communities. These include 2nd Saturday Game Days, potlucks, holiday meals, field trips, theatre outings, and more.

Driver's Education

BridgesDHH offers an annual, virtual Driver's Education course taught in ASL and interpreted into English. This course is for D/deaf and hard of hearing individuals ages 15 and older. It is not an official course, but it will cover the basics of the written exam.
