Community Presentations
Community presentations are tailored to groups from elementary school children to parent groups, from businesses to school to universities, from civic groups to congregations. Topics, time, and level of interaction are up to you. We'll work with you to figure out what best suits your needs.
Typical topics include Deaf culture and language, Deaf rights, advocacy, American Sign Language, and more.
Employer Training
Deaf and Hard of Hearing Awareness workshops are designed to teach how to work with individuals who are Deaf or hard of hearing. The training includes an overview of:

This training could be presentation style to a small or large group or more one-on-one or with a small department by spending time with your workday tasks.
Law Enforcement/First Responder Training
These trainings are designed for law enforcement, firefighters, and EMTs. Trainings are tailored to your needs in terms of time, topics, and level of interaction. We train on the legal rights of the D/deaf, hard of hearing, and Deaf-Blind, how ADA applies to law enforcement and other government entities, basic communication skills, best practices, and practical tips. We train cadet classes and provide in-service for more seasoned responders.
